Synopsis: |
At the tip of the Noto Peninsula, where the coastline stretches for as far as the eye can see. All that stands at "land's end" is a crumbling boat house and a ramshackle wooden lodge.
The figure of a lone woman named Misaki appears on the landscape, arriving back at the last place she saw her father amost 30 years ago.
Before long, Misaki has converted the boathouse into a small cafe, serving hand-roasted coffee. Living in the nearby lodge is young single mother Eriko . Raising her daughter and son alone, she's become increasingly frustrated with her constrictive existence.
