In 243 B.C., the Warring States of China, China was separated as seven nations and many other small tribes. To strengthen their state, every nation is desirous to seize the others. Zhao attempts to invade his neighbor nation Yan. He sends a troop of one-hundred thousands soldiers, lead by prime commander Xiang Yanzhong, headed towards Yan. Before the warfare with Yan, Zhao soldiers decided to take-over Liang City, which is a small tribe in the outskirts of the Yan Nation, as their base of attack.
Liang City, with population around four thousand. Ruled by a noble Liang King. Liang people are mostly farmers and the non-productive; they have almost no weapons or any self-protect device. Facing Zhao’s attack, their only chance of survival is external help. So they ask for the help from “Mozi Warrior”, who are well-known in defensive skills.
Just before Zhao’s invasion, a beggar-look Mozi warrior “Ge Li” arrived at Liang to safeguard the city. Liang people heartily welcome this salvation god, but at the same time, they doubted his ability.
Ge Li lead the four thousand people, successfully beats Zhao army, but warfare doesn’t end. Failure stimulated Zhao’s Commander Xiang Yanzhong’s ambitious. Experiencing a lengthy and continuous struggle and battle, Liang people and Zhao’s army were totally exhausted.
At last, a command of withdrawal from Zhao was announced; it was good news to both parties. Liang King was eager to expel Ge Li at once, he believes that Ge Li will seize his throne and rule his kingdom when the war was over. On the other hand, Xiang Yanzhong insisted his mission, he ignored the command, and with one thousand soldiers staying behind with him, they waited to take revenge.
Ge Li’s departure encouraged Zhao’s immediate invasion. Nearly without any effort, Zhao army easily overthrew and captured Liang City. However, Ge Li didn’t abandon Liang’s people, he perceived the intrusion of Zhao, and clearly understood Xiang Yanzhong was personally on him. To safe Liang and its people, Ge Li returned for a mortal battle with Xiang Yanzhong.
The future of Liang City now counts on Ge Le…...the Mozi warrior......
